About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst...

In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
  • Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
  • Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
  • Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
  • Lead implementation of complex initiatives and costs impacting multiple lines of business companywide
  • Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Direct experience in developing reasonable financial assumptions, projections and goals in collaboration with leaders and partners
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to clearly articulate and translate financial data so that it is clearly understood in support of sound decisions
  • Proven leadership in developing and delivering on innovative and efficient solutions
  • Working knowledge and hands on experience with toolsets like Essbase/SmartView, Tableau, Project Tracking, and Costing tools
  • Demonstrated experience in embracing and driving organizational change as well as influencing colleagues through changing requirements and vision
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, readily developing partnership across the enterprise to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Lead processes for planning, forecasting, reporting, consolidation and analysis for the Human Resources group, including creation of efficient processes and consistent practices with other functions
  • Leverage deep business knowledge to provide strong consultation and strategic thinking for Human Resources business objectives and financial implications
  • Support the development of meaningful financial analysis and insights (leveraging best practices) for proposed investments (ex: Projects, business cases, authorization of expenditures)
  • Collaborate with business in developing focused relevant materials for executive audiences; Examples include business reviews, forecast and monthly financial updates, expense initiatives progress, cost transparency, and technology investments.
  • Support development of performance measures and cost drivers for assessing capacity and financial efficiency for Human Resources
  • Subject matter expert on both incoming and outgoing indirect allocations for all of Human Resources, including consultation and leadership in effective cost methodologies
